Again not work that is relevant is terms of design direction but i just wanted to see how a designer works for or with such a tight selected audience. I think eric hare dose this well as he understand and is he audience something that i feel is or i want to be in my practice.

So because i had a given subject i had to think of clever ways to enhance this. Again thinking about stock and print process for the letterheads and invoice's but also think about promotional tools such as the button above.

For me this work has the kind of anesthetic that is contemporary and also in the case of the public class work has a slight influence of techno using square shapes and limited giving of a digital feel.
Also really like how the branding is producing across a range with blank CD's being something i could use and also the poster at the bottom is still linked to create visual consistency.

Looked again into people who work within music. Although the work couldn't be further from what i want to achieve i think its good to look at people who communicate with a selected niche audience knowing what appeals to them and what doesn't.

As im adopting a given logo and brand ID im just looking at ways of making that given logo and branding a different atheistic using textures, half tone etc. I need to create a technoish look but with going to into machines, robots space. i feel that ICFF have achieved this in the above work.

also just liked the layout of the letterhead at the top i want to create something similar with a contempory feel that is useable, this will give a more professional feel to the brand.

Decided to look at studio that have delt with the same sort of audience that i shall be trying to communicate to. Producing something of this look/ appeal would meet the the clients wants and needs as well as appealing to the target audience.

italy based dj and producer alex d'elia asked us to create a standard sleeve artwork for his upcoming sublabel frequenza limited.
the artwork is based on the idea to keep the main sleeve for every release but to change the colour of specific parts on the labels. this concept helps the label to get a continuous design and hence a high recognition value and emphasises the quality of the music. furthermore it saves money and is a good way to get a lot for a low budget. that can be pretty useful in the hard fought music market.

Felt the last point made was a interesting, keeping down cost of production is a key element to the brief as there is a very limited budget/ if any.
